It was a pleasant morning to be surrounded by children dressed in all shades of colours last Friday. Everyone was in a joyous and festive mood. In class, we discussed and shared about some Chinese New Year traditions, in particular, the significance of the mandarin oranges and red packets. I was amazed to hear the interesting things the children shared about CNY.
One of the highlights in our CNY celebration was the lion dance, our favourite item. Nicholas and Kylie bravely seized an orange out of the lion's mouth!
All of us had enjoyed the Chinese New Year celebration. Amni, Dany, Izzat and Aufa were equally thrilled to join us in this celebration.
I wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year.
