Program for Active Learning - Visual Art (5)

Ms Atikah encouraged 1F pupils to recall what they had learnt in the previous lesson. Many children participated actively in the discussions. In this lesson, every group had to decide the types of doors, windows and other items that they would like to add to their 'buildings' and background. There was a lot of interaction among the pupils. After that, the pupils started sketching what they would like to add, colour them and glued them to the structures. I could see that they were having a lot of fun. I love the confidence displayed by the children as they interacted with me and our trainer about their art-making experience and their feelings about the collaborative project.

I love the creative and colourful artworks showcased by 1F pupils. I am sure they must be beaming with pride over their collaborative project.
I am very proud of 1F children who cleaned up the mess after every art lesson. Even the trainer was very impressed by their act. It is heartening to hear one of them talk about keeping the artroom clean for others. Being responsible and considerate towards others are important.
