Program for Active Learning - Visual Art (6)

In Lesson (6), 1F pupils had to design their own cardboard monsters. I could see many eyes gleaming with delight. Many groups immediately got into a conversation about how they would like their monsters to look like. I was heartened to see them taking turns to listen to one another patiently. They had learnt to work cooperatively after several sessions of collaborative activities together.

A peek into the imagination of 1F children! I am amazed by the varied and interesting sketches created by the little ones. It was an enjoyable experience listening to their chatter and watching them adding lines and shapes to their doodles together.
Transforming the monster sketches into captivating masterpieces by transferring the designs onto cardboards and adding colours and patterns to them!
The final monster designs by our very own 1F artists! Their confidence glowed from the way they gamely posed for the camera. I am very proud of the cooperation displayed by the children during their collaborative art-making activities.
