Program for Active Learning - Visual Art (3)

This week, 1F pupils had to create their favourite 'buildings'. After a few minutes of brainstorming for ideas with their group members, the children started constructing the 'buildings' using recycled materials. I enjoyed observing the process as they helped one another to secure the parts together and discussed which part worked best with other parts.

The 'buildings' designed by 1F children were so interesting and varied. So proud of their confidence and the problem-solving skills.
After the snack break, it was time for 1F pupils to work together to create a background for their 'buildings' using oil pastels. The children added trees, clouds, birds to the cardboards. I am pleased to hear them exchange ideas with one another. Cooperation is the key to success.
